I know that, you must set the correct time from console without running apmd.
so boot first in console (not opie) and do the following:
#/etc/init.d/apm stop
#date -s xxxxxxxxxxxxx
#/etc/init.d/apm start
#/reboot
this will set the time correctly on my Z.
