I386 Version Of Libsl.so
« on: May 20, 2006, 03:14:12 am »
I would be grateful if somebody could send me a link or a file with the i386 version of sharp-specific libraries (libsl.so and everything it depends on) for i386.

I would like to use Sharp's file dialog in my application. I took the sl*.h header files from Kino2, I have arm libraries on my Z, but I need also i386 libraries for debugging on a desktop.

Thanks.

You won't get them I'm afraid. This library was written by Sharp and is closed-source.

Right. You won't get it for anything else than the SharpROM. Besides, even SharpROM addicted people are starting to realize the mistake Sharp made with that and are moving from libsl (see FreeNode author for an example).

If this is so, I am not going to touch this library and I am going to write my own file dialog. But it's a pitty that there is nothing standard that would work for all ROMs and that I could use.
