Zaurus Serial Interface/network Cable.
« on: June 05, 2006, 09:21:17 am »
Basically, since I'm looking at getting a Twin brother for Cortana soon, And only have one Wireless card, I was wondering whether it was possible to make a Serial Z-Z link cable between the 5600's and have a Direct-Connection modem network. This would allow them of course to share a wireless connection, and (Albeit very slowly) files. Because of the speed of 116kbps FileTransfer, sharing my wireless link is a bigger concern, as well as having a serial terminal on the Zaurus. Still do-able? I know the connectors are rare now. . .

Its doable if you have connectors. Connect both Z with nullmodem cable and run ppp over it or slip.

how about irda serial instead of cabled serial?

get a length of fibre optic and sellotape it onto the Z
