What the heck is wrong is Sharp?  Why is their focus so skewed?

They pull out the DevNet from under our feet without one word to us.  Then they feel free to use our supplied email addresses to SPAM us.

I removed my email from the list.  If anything significant happens, I\'m sure I will hear about it in here. ;-)

\"Hi,  I saw your post on Devnet,  and...\"

It\'s hard to guess what (if anything) the folks in Osaka are thinking.  Maybe they\'ve decided that there\'s no market for the Z in the US,  and are hoping to make some bucks by flogging their cartoon data format.

Sharp is indeed a strange-of-a-kind company. On one hand, they want to sell you some GSM operator branded cell-phone.

What I\'d like is a phone based on OZ, if they can make that, or at least a really useful PDA. For the moment, I\'m pretty sure I won\'t see that in Europe. Bascially, I\'d like a handspring Treo, but with OZ and more capable hardware.

At least they don\'t mail me yet, and I suspect I get enough spam.

The whole OZ team is waiting to keep their hands on a linux based phone to put an OE-based release on. Best candidate seems the Samsung or the Qualcomm atm. because they pretty much have the same hardware as a Zaurus.

Click on the embedded link in the email.  The url that it refers to has an \"Unsubscribe from all future mailings\" type check box at the bottom.  Be sure to uncheck the newsletter offer.

Wasn\'t there a Motorola phone released in China which was running Qtopia?

Any news on how it is doing?
