..thanks for the link. Do you have a tar file of the icons you downlaoded, as the only way to get them from the site, it seems is individually
[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=134401\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]

what about
> wget -r
 ?
[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=134407\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]
How about just using Firefox and go to >File >Save Page As... Then you have a nice folder (Icons_files) with everything.

Hi,

Finally i feel that i can use my spitz with full potential

I am really happy to be able to install OZ GPE on my single 4 Gb partiton.

and

My all usb devices work, keyboard, mouse, usb ethernet, usb storage. I just untar modules-2.6.16-spitz.tgz and no further configuration needed. This is why i feel like using a decent distro .

Thank you.

p.s: It would be really good to be able use the wheel on usb mouse, but as far as I know, it is not possible with Xfbdev.

'ipkg install kernel-modules' accomplishes the same without going behind ipkg's back

I had to copy the modules across as well as
ipkg install kernel-modules
dosent work when the usb-ethernet (external dongle) drivers are in that package

Hrw and just agreed on shipping all the kernel modules in the microdrive image (tarball is ~1.5MB bigger now) and are looking into shipping extra modules for the other usbhost models (akita, tosa) as well. I suspect we'll get complaints about 'bloat' and such, but so be it.

I'll probably add them for spitz and akita but not for tosa - size is a limit here.

Thanks for that, should point out that its not 100% necesary as it is only a small problem and so for i seem to be the only one with that problem

in other news it looks like this release has /tmp and /var/tmp wierdness like the other builds, /tmp is ln -s'led to /var/tmp which is ln-s'led to /var/tmp (symlink pointing to itself)

quick fix:
rm /var/tmp
mkdir /var/tmp
chmod 1777 /var/tmp

or for you zsh lovers (like me)
rm /var/tmp
mkdir !$
chmod 1777 !$

which i find quicker to type

i will report it as a bug in an hour or so but if you are haveing wierd problems with some programs (such as mutt) then this is the reason

also if you find that 100% volume isnt as loud in this release then fiddle with OUT2 mixer, this should get those levels back up and make the 100% unbearable loud again try alsamixer on the cmd line if you have no idea how to change this

apart from that i have a handfull of other bugs you would only notice if you are running on the command line 24/7 that i will report

Bravo!

I'm all for a tosa release.  Not so eager for an all new OZ release--more interested in apps/polishing, but I guess sometimes it's better just to go ahead.

I just decided to do a long term trial of OZ on my 3100. Right now I have gpe, maybe later will run both.  A seriously stupid problem came up, though ( I strongly suspect user error) I can't seem to get my ambicom wireless card to connect to my network.  using the net applet (which was much better than I had remembered, btw) I enter the relevant info essid, gateway, etc... the essid doesn't seem to "take" and I can't connect. I seem to recall this being trivial when I first flashed to the alpha.

The wifi is working- my tosa connects just fine .

sugestions?
