The point is that using 1.1.0 with stuff from beta1, 3 , and contrib and a tetsu kernel would make a "static" stable pdax setup for my zauruses (dev environment and all) using a kernel that is still being tweaked, and currently performs quite well (under sharprom it seems to do better with media playback than does the beta1 kernel on my 3100--though there are a lot of variables). I'd view it as a sort of frozen X based rom with kernel enhancements. kinda like a gtk cacko.
guess I'll give 18h a whirl on my 3100--I can always flash if it makes a mess.
