I've compiled one for my 2.4.20, but I think that you won't be able to use it because at76 based wifi cards draw too much current from the USB port.

could you upload your compiled 2.4.20 module for the at76 please ?
i would like to try it with my slc3000 and an inventel usb lan dongle

In the atmelwlan* archive, you'll find the modules for the 2.4.20 kernel in the objs directory.
