I was running opie and installed GPE in an image file on an SD card.
I thought that the install in the image was totally self-contained, but it looks like /home is internal still. It's still my old home directory, even though I have mounted / as the image file.
When I boot the image, I get a bunch of errors about being unable to write to various directories, but GPE starts up ok. Then when I try to su to root, I get an error saying that there is no root user.
Should I change my fstab or move/copy /home into the image file? I'm not exactly sure how altboot works. The original plan was to have OPIE installed internally and GPE in an image file on the SD card and to be able to choose at boot time which I want to use.
