Samsung 64gb Cf Card
« on: October 06, 2006, 03:22:01 pm »
I know this announcement is almost a month old.

These cards use a new technology.
I wonder if these will work in the Zaurus when they are released.
Imagine having 64GB plus the other resources available on your Z
Or, better yet, replacing the 4GB drive with one of these for a total of 128GB storage

the samsung press release is for 32 gigabit (BIT not BYTE) memory chips, and thus you still need 8 to make a byte-wide memory; they also didn't say when CF cards with such high capacities would be in mass production.

but we can all wait and dream

"can be used" != "are being used"

so sorry to nit-pick, but it's merely stating that new high capacity CF cards are possible, but nothing too specific
