Has anyone managed to compile wvdial?
I have problems connecting with some internet providers using modem line with the default pdaxrom (pdaxii13) dialer. I 've tried to compile an alternative like wvdial or kppp but no luck. Getting too many errors.

I have added some new features* (and at the same time merged wellswang's fixes) to justreader and compiled it for the Cacko / Sharp rom, however I do not have the cross compilation tools to compile for the pdaxrom. Can someone compile it for me?

The sources are at:
http://168weedon.com/zaurus/justreader_2.2.0.tar.gz
http://168weedon.com/zaurus/justreader_2.1.0.tar.gz

* e.g. automatic bookmarking, which records your reading progress for each file, and jumps to that position every time you open the same file even if you have closed justreader or opened other files (for details check the CHANGES file in the source)

Well, 2.2.0 - doesn't compile as it requires QPE headers, which obviously pdaX doesn't have

Should I try 2.1.0 or it will be the same?

It will be the same. However I am pretty sure I have not changed anything in the code that will require additional QPE header files. Would you mind generating a new Makefile with the Textreader.pro inside the source tar, and add the __FOR_QT__ directive in it?

I use window maker as my main window manger. (one of three wm : icewm, dwm, wm)
but it doesn't have systray so I use 'wmzmon' instead of 'matchbox volume control applet'.
It is so small that I can't handle it well.

Because of this reason, I found this application.

source : http://kai.vm.bytemark.co.uk/~arashi/wmsys...y-0.1.1.tar.bz2

Can anyone make it work on pdaxrom (beta3)?

Well, If I build it, will definately work with mine bluez libs/utils / gtk2 and so on.

Anyway - as I already have it my repository, will build the newer version, and you may try it

I would like to view/edit RAW files from my camera on the Z.
I searched the forum and found this Thread:

https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showt...=18438&hl=ufraw

This version works but is very outdated and the stable version for debian is 0.10-1.

Is it possible to compile the new version of ufraw?
UFraw Sources can be found here:
http://mesh.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge...raw-0.11.tar.gz

Another software for Raw Files is Digikam/dcraw:

Digikam (based on KDE - I know KDE and Z ....   ) and the Sources can be found here:
http://mesh.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge...m-0.9.2.tar.bz2

Dcraw (Fast Commandline tool for converting Raw's to jpeg/tiff files) - Sources (C File) can be found here: http://cybercom.net/~dcoffin/dcraw/dcraw.c

Thanks to all guys who working hard on pdaxrom and compiling several software packages for pdaxrom users

Does anyone of you have a good step by step documentation how to create a zaurus application from a native linux one as you do?

Do you need a special environment to do this? I want also to try to compile tools for my zaurus!

Thanks

Google "pdaXrom cross compiling," the first links should be to OESF, and there is a good tutorial there.

Be sure to use the cross sdk from distro.ibiblio.org/... instead of the one they link to.

And sorry I'm not getting to any compiling. Stuff has come up and I've been sidetracked, but I'll try to get to them sometime.
