Howto Configure Targus Stowaway In Familiar 0.8.4
« on: November 13, 2006, 05:23:56 pm »
I have an used Ipaq 3950, that comes with a targus stowaway keyboard, wich works with the included distro familiar 0.8.2. But when I flashed with 0.8.4 not any more.
I looked for:
stowaway-modules for 2.4.19 kernel
stowaway-3600
in http://ftp.handhelds.org/distributions/fam...es/v0.8.4/feed/

I found a mix of ipk's of another distros that I tried:
http://ftp.handhelds.org/packages/stowaway...600_1.0_arm.ipk

I've followed the steps in http://www.tkn.tu-berlin.de/research/momba...MOMBASA_ON_IPAQ but nothing works

last test I do:
modprobe h3600-stowaway
stowd

give me this error:
Unable to open /dev/ttySA0: no such file or directory

Since I see /dev/tty0 to tty5 I assume that something must be changed somewhere in the configuration, but im LOST

Can anybody guide me to found proper pkg's or a howto?
Thanks in advance

I did a wrong reseach.
There is no more use of kernel modules for keyboards, all is solved freeing tty0 for keyboard and configuring kbdd
