I have just bought an ANYCOM bluetooth CF card , having been unsuccessful in trying to connect using infrared. The card has a transparent LED in the top left hand corner.
I have read the Bluetooth \' how to\' document but cannot get the connection to work.
I have however managed to pair the Zaurus to my SonyEricsson T68i mobile.
I am sure that the problem relates to the rfcomm.conf file as I cannot understand the instructions in the \'how to\' guide.
I am not sure
1. what the MAC address is or what the channel value of the DUN/Serial profile is ?
2. How they should be put them into the config file.
With regard to Q1 - I have run sdptool browse and here is the first part of its output
Browsing 00:0A:D9:3D:DC:5B ...
Service Name: Dial-up Networking
Service RecHandle: 0x10000
Service Class ID List:
\"Dialup Networking\" (0x1103)
\"Generic Networking\" (0x1201)
Protocol Descriptor List:
\"L2CAP\" (0x0100)
\"RFCOMM\" (0x0003)
Channel: 1
Profile Descriptor List:

\"Generic Telephony\" (0x1204)

\"RFCOMM\" (0x0003)
& also run hcitool scan and it would appear that the MAC address is a 12 digit number i.e. 00:0A:D9:3D:DC:5B and the channel is 1. But I am only guessing.
With regard to Q2 I have put these two figures into the rfcomm.conf file as an entry onto one line like so 00:0A:D9:3D:DC:5B 1 . However this is clearly wrong because when I run /etc/rc.d/init.d/bluetooth restart I get a parse error line 3 which is the line where I have put the \'MAC\' & \'Channel\' info.
Can someone help me ?
Perhaps a copy of what their rfcomm.conf file looks like would be helpful.
Many thanks
