OpenZaurus is old mature distribution which is known by users. It is a bit conservative but working.

Poky is internal OpenedHand distribution not offered for normal users.

Angstrom is distribution which will lead OE derived distros in new directions. It will also join all OE supported machines under one distro.

i have some starting problems to the oe world:-) maybe someone can help as i dont find
the right informations.

angstrom: now i downloaded the spitz version 20070104. i guess, i should use the install
instructions for spitz from oz, installing to hd, right? are there any gui images out there?

poky: i tried to compile this according to the readme, but an ftp server refuses anonymous
login (ftp://ftp.astron.com/pub/file/file-4.18.tar.gz) and the download http://www.o-hand.com/~richard/poky/sources/file-4.18.tar.gz does not exist.

hentges: will try this at the weekend.

p.s. Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in /public/vhost/o/oesf/html/forums/ips_kernel/class_db_mysql.php on line 117

nothing works out of the box:-)

Send a message to the Angstrom list (or talk to someone on #angstrom) about the lack of installation instructions for the Spitz.
