Install xfce4-panel from
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distri.../contrib/Chero/ Here's a direct link to the ipkg
(link)It might have some dependencies, so be sure to install those too.
When it's done installing, run "xfce4-panel &" from a terminal.
You'll have to play around with it a little, but there's also a clip-board plug in there.
If you want to, you can change the file "/home/root/.xinitrc"
[span style=\'font-size:14pt;line-height:100%\']How to Use a Different Panel When Starting X-windows[/span]
* Backup "/home/root/.xinitrc" to /home/root/,xinitrc.matchbox. just in case anything goes wrong.
* Open "/home/root/.xinitrc" in your favorite text editor.
Change the line that starts
eval "matchbox-panel
to
eval "xfce4-panel
This will run xfce4-panel on startup instead of matchbox-panel.
hope this helps. I agree a lot of things are missing in matchbox.
[edit:] You don't need to install the entire xfce4 package, just the panel and some libraries.
