C1000 - Can't Nand Resize To 121
« on: March 13, 2007, 06:03:50 pm »
Hey guys, anybody with C1000 have problems resizing their nand to 121 mb?

I've tried pdaxrom beta3 install, pdxii13 5.3.1, 5.3.2 and no luck. I'll go to NAND Flash Utils enter 121, reinstall everything, but I still get the following:

Code: [Select]
filesystem size Used Available Use% Mounted On
/dev/root 53.0 53.0M 0 100% /
none 12.0M 20.0k 12.0M 0% /dev
/dev/mtdblock3 68.0M 3.8M 64.2M 6% /home
/dev/mtdblock3 68.0M 3.8M 64.2M 6% /mnt/user

From what I understand, /dev/root should change from size of 53 Mb to 121 mb.

Anybody have any ideas?

Can you access the D + M menus?
on service page 3, there is a selection called
7. EXTRA MENU
After entering that, there is a selection called
10. NAND Flash Erase

Don't do this unless you're sure what you're doing.

if you brick your Z, this post doesn't exist

Nevermind, figured it out. For some reason, setting the Fix boot loader 68mb solved the problem.

That fixes for roots >= x MB, so you do need to use it before resizing.
SL-C750- pdaXrom beta 1 (mostly unused)
Current distro: Gentoo
