I am able to sync using USB - I/O, but USB - IP fails to communicate. Both the c860 and XP/Zaurus Manager have the same settings (USB IP 192.168.129.201) per some doc.
ifconfig on the c860 reports the USB adapter with the above IP, however ipconfig under XP does not. I changed the Windows IP to the above as well (per another post), I also tried .200 and .202. Both .200 and .202 allow the two devices to ping each other. .201 return pings, but Windows also reports dup IPs. Makes sense.
Questions:
1. Exactly what combination of IP settings in Windows, Zaurus Manager and the c860 need to be setup work allow IP sync.
2. Have others used IP sync outside of USB. Wifi or BT-PAN?
3. The sync software has a serial option, however c860/Cacko does not, how do I serial sync.
4. If serial sync works can BT serial be used?
