Portugues Characters In Cacko Rom

Hello my friends, i'm using CACKO rom in my SL-C3000 and for me is the best rom!! (cacko still in curse of development?? or dead??)

but only problem for me is KEYMAPS

need a portuguese keymap with accentuation like " é ão ç á í " etc


someone can help??

You can do it (new keyboard layout) yourself quite easily.  Please see the instructions and examples in the following thread:

Cacko is mature system that works.  I don't think Maslovsky (Cacko's author) will improving it that much but you can ask him.

but for create this keymap are very hard, in CACKO rom I don't see "ç" or "ã" and I need to create in my macintosh this keymap??

If you have a Maslovsky contact, please send to me, If I can contribute with cacko rom (to SL-C3000 only found beta version)

I have all of those characters in the "Latin-1 Supplement" in the Unicode popup for text input on my standard Sharp ROM 2.38.  Search oesf for information about the "keyhelper" application.  I am not sure which ROMs and models it works on, but IIRC it is meant for Cxxxx series.  I figure if I have it on my old Sharp ROM, you ought to be able to get it on your newer model.

They don't have input method choices on cacko for C3000?  And try keyhelper out.  Sorry I don't have exact forum topic # but it should turn up fast in a search...I think subject was about replacing "," with "\", or something like that, for one of the better threads.
