I am guessing the C970 (if there is such a thing) would have specs similar to the 6000 with built in wifi and such. ????
I\'d suspect that if it was for the US and had built-in wireless, it would have shown up on a FCC website somewhere months ago.

That brings up an interesting point.  Is it legal to import a non-FCC approved device?

\"A Linux PDA really should be cheaper than a similarly specced Pocket PC because there\'s no Micro$oft tax. \"
Instead there is the Qtopia tax.

Right. Which implies an unfortunate conclusion. For Sharp it may be somehow logical though... as far as I have heard they even have a hard time producing enough units for the japanese market.

I\'m guessing your guess is accurate
I am tired of guessing...

I want to KNOW...

but then again I have been trying to get the money saved up since last June to buy me a Z...and since I am still a little short(still recovering from unemployment) I guess I can wait a little longer...

..Maybe by then there will be rumors of a Z phone that I can hold out for...

The question is of course: if it will be announced in March - when would it be available in the stores (in Japan)?
Also with gadgets one could allways have a (good) reason to wait a little bit longer.
It\'s seems like a compromise between feature request and patience to me...
I mean, even if the C970 would be out in the stores by April, it would take time for the community to develop new ROMs etc...
C860 with Cacko 1.21 \"Elena\" ROM,
pretec wlan cf, nokia bt cf, ratoc usb host cf, socket lan cf,
sandisk 512 cf/sd, kingston 256 cf

From the pictures, it looks like something that you would buy from a collective in old Russia.  Who did the industrial design on this, the same guy in E-germany that did the troby (sic)?
