Any CF FM Radio Card driver and application support for Z

I want to buy a CF FM Radio card, http://www.prolink.com.tw/english/products...s/PDA/FM201.htm, but the driver it provides only support PocketPC. Are there any applications available?
  Or where I can find appropriate materials about the specification of the CF FM card, I then can do some work on this. Personal Interests. :-)

Hi, i\'m getting a c860 by the end of the week. I\'m also interested in a FM RADIO... It would be great to have, but as of yet I haven\'t seen much history of one on a linux pda... :-(  Has anybody out there got any input?

Search the manufacturer website for linux drivers.  Last time this was posted, none existed.  You might want to search this board for all the other inquiries that found that no drivers exist.

Also, you might consider just an external radio and connecting it thru the microphone port.  JHaving an expensive CF radio that only does FM doesn\'t seem like a lot of bang for the buck, when you could get FM/AM/Weather/TV in a $20 pocket sized radio that doesn\'t drain your Z battery.

I think the best option to get FM radio on the Z should be the FM Xtra headphones from Digisette.  
The product is claimed to be universal, thus I think it should work, and it\'s even available for the 2,5mm jack as the one on the Zaurus SL-6000.   :wink:

It has watch-like battery to use even standalone, so when attached to the Z, it should drain the battery of the Z instead of its own one, shouldn\' it?

I actually bought a product similar to the one you mentioned. I got it off ebay.

The product was OK.. but the auto scan feature was a bit flakey. It would lock to the station but sometimes when there was interference it would suddenly jump to the next station. The reception on the thing wasnt that great. The battery lasted a pretty long time (I would have to say about 3-4 weeks of maybe 1-2 hour use for 5 days out of the week) I would use it to listen to teh radio on my commute to work.

Overall I wasnt too satisifed with the product. I'm not sure how the digisette ones are but the ones I got were not that great.

I did find a FM radio/Headphone combo made by Sony. It has a precise tuning "things" and not the auto tuning feature found in the products mentioned above. The headphones offered "Bass Boost" too and rechargeable batteries. The only drawback is that it's a bit pricey..
