hi,

has anyone compiled OPIE for MIPS processor ? if so can you please send the documents regarding that ? i searched in the internet regarding that but could not find any thing.

Also can anyone say me how to add extra applications in Qtopia ?

Add you device into OpenEmbedded and use it to build OPIE.

i'l try that and mail you. By the way i somehow compiled OPIE fro MIPS by editing some files. but i could no execute it on the board successfully. it gives me the following error:

I'm guessing that one of the applets that is being loaded is causing the crash. I would suggest deleting/moving the applet .so files out of the way until it starts to work.
