Thanks

Question Greg2.  I,ve installed the app., but the screen does not go into landscape mode.  It does like a soft reset but when the screen comes on again, it still has vertical view.

You need the qtopia-rotation_1.5.0_arm.ipk

I\'ll see if I can find the link for you

May I make a suggestion?

What you are using is a bit of code from a different version of qtopia, and because SHarp\'s version of gtopia isn\'t meant to rotate, you have to reset the GUI to make it flip and it frequently fails.

If you want screan rotation, (and who wouldn\'t) you need to install a rom that uses Opie, or qtopia 1.6.2   Both of them have native \"on the fly\" rotation.  IMNSHO, the best of these is OpenZaurus 3.3.5

Check out http://www.openzaurus.org    Don\'t bother with 3.3.6 as it\'s not realy meant for the average user, yet.

Sync requires different software as the file format is different

Hancom Sheet and Word work fine for me.

Yes, you have to install different sheet and word ipk\'s than you use for the 3.10 rom and you have to use a different qtopia desktop to sync, but it all works quite nicely.  You can find answers to all of these with a quick search on these forums and if you still have problems after looking I\'d be glad to help.  OZ is better in MANY respects and if what you listed was all you didn\'t like, you are missing the boat because they are non-issues.
