Netfront Stopped Working When Zaurusworld Site Went Down?
« on: October 12, 2007, 04:12:58 pm »
I can't seem to get netfront on my zaurus to pull up any web pages any more.  My Zaurus is definitely connected to the internet, everything else works including opera.  But Netfront continues to say it can't find any site I try to visit.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Is it using some strange japanese site for dns or something?  It seems like it stopped working around the time Sharp pulled the plug on it's zaurusworld site.

Anyone have any ideas?  I would use opera exclusively but the fonts are so tiny on it that it becomes annoying after a while.

Netfront is working fine for me. If you have DNS problems you might need to edit your /etc/resolv.conf file and add some servers. Just copy whatever you have on your desktop. But if Opera is working, then this shouldn't be an issue as the file is common to all web apps.
