how would you transfer files from a windows pc to the zaurus? Ive gotten windows to recognize my zaurus as a ethernet gadget and used the linux.ini drivers but i have no idea how to actually transfer files.

You can use the ssh server on the zaurus side and winscp on windows side - this is fairly easy. IIRC you just need to set a password on the zaurus side (using passwd) - this is my favorite method.

Another alternative is to setup samba server and access it as a windows shared folder, this is a little bit more complicated and requires you to install the samba package and some tweaking of the samba conf file.

A third option is to use the zaurus as a usb drive, I don't like this option because it never worked properly for me (very slow mounts at best, didn't work at all at worst).

You can also setup an FTP server on the zaurus, or maybe setup an FTP server on the windows side and use wget on the zaurus side... Never tried those.

I hope this helps,
