Need Help

I just got my zaurus SL-1000 in the mail, and I have having some problems.

I have Qtopia 1.5.4 and have no idea how to change my ROM.

My 4gb SDHC card can not be read and I only have a wireless card (ambicom) for my compact flash.

Is there anyway I can download a new rom and then install it? I don't even know how to get to a browser with this rom ;\

You need a working memory card in order to change ROM. It is not possible to download a ROM to main memory and flash.

You already have a browser installed, it is called "NetFront".

Is this new or second hand ?

I messed up big time. Now I tryed to go to Angstrom and all I get is a terminal screen telling me to login

I am scrued now because I can't even link my CF card to the computer anymore and for some reason my 2gig sd card isn't being read. Can you help?

This is second hand almost new btw.

I put those 3 files on my CF..and I used your instructions on angstrom to do it. It installed(so it said) .. and it then brought me to a terminal screen. I restarted and it told me to login. Now I am stuck ;\
