Wireless And Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy
« on: January 22, 2008, 03:17:29 pm »
I am wondering if someone is able to explain this to me. I have a fit-pc on which I am using a usb wireless adapter and had problems getting it recognized. I then read that installing wifi radar would easily solve the glitch in Ubuntu that was the problem. As soon as I had installed wifi radar the adapter connected to a wep controlled router without me entering the wep key. I have a WRT350n router. Iwconfig shows the correct key entered I can not imagine how that could possibly happen as this adapter connected instantly as soon as wifi radar was installed. Thank-you.
