As power management gets implemented battery life is improving.  The GTA01 (FreeRunner is GTA02) had terrible battery life, 8 hours of operation from what I read.  With new software it is getting 21 hours and there are even more things to implement.  So, battery life will get better, but currently power management needs a lot of work.

True, Well I must admit that the software that is on the device (standard at delivery) is pretty buggy. It crashed about 2 times. The sounds goes off and on about specific times.
Ah well... I need to check if a reflash helps.

Yes, it is possible.  There are some audio quality issues that are being looked into at the moment with A2DP.
