Author Topic: Cant install any packages on tkcrom or zynergy! (Read 3153 times)

Try to install various applications or games but nothing.Im on the install-uninstall screen, tap to install the packge and it just get me to main menu.I try to install the package through the console i get ipkg found-unzipped and nothing else.
Anyone?

As root did you try \"ipkg install whatever.ipk\" ?

You wouldn\'t be using smbmount would you?

I\'ve had trouble in the past using tkcrom\'s qinstall while using smbmount. Zynergy\'s problem with the qinstall utillity is a \'known bug\'.

installing from the command line like cmisip posted above should still work.

I have no problem installing programs including tkVOX, tkVideo, ... and free programs on my 5600 running theKompany.rom. I have also installed some of these programs on my IBM 1GB microdrive.

I used the Zynergy rom quite effectively. To use the gui install, I had to keep a SD card in the slot. All was well while it was inserted, crashed if I tried to install with it out. Who knows why, but I\'ve since switched.
