zfceu button remap
« on: March 30, 2004, 10:47:25 am »
I recently obtained a copy of zfceu (many thanks to coryc) and I noticed that the A and B buttons were set to the calendar and address book buttons. I dont know about other countries but my nintendo had the A and B buttons on the right of the controller. I would like to remap the buttons to the menu and email button. Does anyone out there know how to do this? I looked at my zfceu.cfg file and it looked like they could be changed but I dont know the appropriate code.

Bump. I'd really like to know as well. Someone has to have figured this out. Looks like the config file is binary. Strangely, on of the A/B keys is the x on the keyboard, the other is the address book button. Maybe I'm running a funny version or something...

The best solution I can come up with is simply to get used to it. After a period of adjustment I was able to play zelda 2 almost all the way through, which requires very precise and rapid a/b interaction to fight effectively. It's not as bad as I thought.
