Crucial CF Card -- disabled?
« on: April 02, 2004, 12:18:18 pm »
Well ... I think my CF card isn\'t feeling its best these days -- its a 128mb crucial CF card.  And, when I try to put more than 74 or so megs of data on it -- windows will tell me that it cannot create the file -- the zaurus will tell me the card is full.  yet windows still sees it and formats it as 122mb.  I\'ve formatted it and ran like oh umm norton disk doctor on it ... and well no results -- any ideas?  is my card now a 74mb card?

Maybe your CF card is wearing out.  Is it really old?  Have you used it a lot?  My understanding is that flash memory will eventually wear out.

Well... I\'m not familiar with norton disk doctor, but what about an old fashioned Zaurus fdisk and reformatting?
