Any CF RJ-45 Cards to Stay Away From?
« on: October 28, 2003, 04:30:32 pm »
Hey, folks. I\'m in the market for a CF RJ-45 ethernet card for my Z 5600. Don\'t want wireless (too many war drivers out there, and I like paranoia).

I did a search on eBay and a bunch jumped out at me. Does anyone know about compatiblity issues with the Z? Should I stay away from certain brands, go with others, etc.? Anyone have good luck with one, or bad luck with another?

Thanks.

-Greg

You could look in /etc/pcmcia/config file to see if what you see is compatible (at least listed) in your Z. I jumped on an D-Link WLAN card without checking but got lucky...
