Is it possible to tighten the hinge?

My Gemini's screen tends to flap around a little when I "thumb type." Does anyone know if it is possible to tighten the hinge?

At the moment there's no way I could hold my Gemini like this without the screen closing:

It seems as if Gemini hinges vary a bit…  (See this topic.)

When I hold mine in that sort of position, I prop the screen open; it's hard to describe, but I put one or both middle fingers under the hinge, use forefinger(s) to hold the edge of the screen, and rest the corners of the keyboard on one or both palms.  (That's how I tended to hold my Psion.  Thumbtyping is reasonably comfortable.  If needed, you can hold it in one hand and touch the screen with the other.)

Not ideal, but it mostly works!

I'd be surprised if it's possible to tighten the hinge after manufacture, but I too would be interested…

This is interesting, mine is rock solid and won't close without the application of a fair bit of force, but it could be concerning long-term  if it develops looseness over time, so it'd be good to know id there's a way to tighten it..

I hold it the same as you gidds. The same way I held my Psion. The screen moves a little bit, but nothing that prevents swiping.

I know that the Psion screen didn't move in the same way, but the hinge design was different so it couldn't.

The hinge on mine is pretty flimsy as well, it'll flop down without support.

My hinge is a bit loose and a bit creaky. Wonder if there is anything which can be done?
