Just dowloading OTA update to 3.0.2.8. According change log, high battery drain caused by wifi should be fixed. If that is true, it will be great.

Nothing, just check for updates, but I am registered for early access. May be that is the reason.

Already can confirm that Wi-fi drain decreased. Apart that I did not observe any changes so far.

I concur:  WiFi power usage has improved.  Regrettably, no fix yet for the pulseaudio problems:  mono headphones, headphones insertion does not switch internal speakers off, and phone call microphone side selection is still the same as the speaker (up side).

Power usage doesn't seem improved for me. With no SIM fitted and wifi enabled, my gemini went from 100% charge to dodo dead in less than 20hrs while sat on my desk unused.
I'm dissapointed, but I'm done wasting time on this device.

Try to install system monitor from Openrepos (Storeman) and keep it running and logging on background. It can give some first hint what can be so power hungry in your case.

You were correct, I could get the version by opting in to early releases.

I upgraded, and now I am booting automatically into sailfish rather than android, so heads up if anyone else rely on a multi boot scheme.

For comparison on Android I get a full day of moderate 4G and Wifi usage out of my Gemini with usually over 50% battery left at the end of the day.  WiFi only and no use it would easily last more than 3 days so while I understand your frustration I would respectfully suggest the issue is the software rather than the device?

I get similar battery life to your Android from my Gemini using SF. I am not using push email and I tend to force close apps not in use, this may be the difference.
WiFi can affect battery if the signal is not solid. Also, batteries are not always the same over their lives. Depending on how they have been used, their ability to hold a charge can be damaged - I believe heat can be a problem here.

Well, after much more testing and measurements (I even intentionally left my Gemini 4 days unattended) - wifi drain is not fixed, I could call it an improvement, but not a fix.
