AirMail - on screen keyboard in Portrait Mode?
« on: December 20, 2019, 06:13:55 am »
Here's an on-going thing that I realise I had with the Gemini also.

How can I get the on screen keyboard to show when in Portrait mode on the Cosmo using AirMail?

I cannot see the icon on the swipe-up toolbar.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to bring up the on screen keyboard? (sounds odd, I know)

On the go, I find Portrait mode very handy, when there's not a surface to lay the 'Mo down on.
I get the feeling I'm maybe missing a trick...

Thanks
Still holding faith in my Planet Gemini and Cosmo, in the memory of dear old Psion.

The easiest way is probably to pull up the "smiley"-keyboard (with Fn and the key with  on the end) (or the "symbols" keyboard), and then change to the "actual" keyboard...

Yes!  That does it!

Thanks ever so much - simples in the end but I could not work it out.
