Printing?
« on: April 04, 2020, 03:40:33 am »
Hi

My HP-Printer, which works fine under other Linux devices, is not recognized while plugged via an usb hub.
An external HDD, plugged via the same Hub is recognized though. In Android, I can connect via WLAN to my printer.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Mine works with an usb adapter.
You first have to install hplip and  system-config-printer ( graphical interface ).
After this press  the  alt and space bar ( hold alt an press space bar )   in kde  and type system-config ( will appear print settings ) . Type enter.
Connect your usb printer and add the new printer.

Good luck .

Hm, its still not recognized via usb. When I do this procedure I have to introduce an URL for the device.... is there a way installingit as wireless (like in android)?

Thanks for your help!
