The only thing I would say, not paying taxes and all, is that it\'s sent in the normal post (though they insure it I think...?), this means that it just gets left on your doorstep (or in your little cupboard) if you\'re not in (well in England this is what happens).
Thankfully they have *never* (GPO or delivery companies) done that with me. I always had to collect it the next day because \"It\'s still on the van mate! and the van won\'t be back untill after we close.\".
City link are the worst, as they retry delivery 3 times! ie day one delivered when I am at work, day two I go down to their office to pick it up on my way to work to find it\'s on the van again due for delivery at 12:30pm, guess where I will be then  This is then repeated for the next two days even though I have told them \"don\'t put it on the van tomorrow as I will collect it at 08:00am tomorrow morning\".
I did have a catalogue company delivery bloke leaving my parcel in my WHEELIE BIN! Damn good job I found the note before I put the bin out that night I can tell you!!
Yes you may have guessed, I order lots of stuff for delivery and get really p****d off with them when they give me the run-around.
I would love the option of the delivery company holding the item for me to collect. It saves them a wasted journey (or in citylinks case 3 wasted journeys) and it saves my frustation at having to wait an extra day (or 3) to get my stuff.
Ohh sorry, to stay on topic I haven\'t ordered anything from Japan direct, but they do come highly regarded.
