Ordered my 860 from "K". Arrived today.
« on: May 11, 2004, 06:36:23 pm »
For anyone thinking of getting a Zaurus from Japan, I can totally recommend K\'s service. I was thinking my 860 would be shipped today, but it arrived already.

His current ebay store is here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3095143122&rd=1

K is great to deal with and answered all my emails really quickly.

I hadn\'t realised quite what a work of art the 860 is. Great!

It is indeed, I got mine quite recently. It\'s a great machine, you\'ll have much fun with it.

:-)
Left Linux and Linux PDAs... sorry, got boring.  Switched to Mac.

Thanks, I\'m not a Linux guy so I know this is going to be a real project to get to where I want to be. I plan on using my Dell Axim as my day to day PDA, and treat the Z as a \"work in progress\".

I\'m totally thrilled by the hardware, I knew it was good but it exceeds my expectations. The only problem is that they seem to have forgotten to design a stylus and provided a toothpick instead. That\'s got to go!

I don\'t understand why Sharp would make such a great product but make it so hard for people to actually buy it.

At least it means we are part of an exclusive group

I ordered the stylus from Brando when I ordered my PDair case. Much better than the Sharp one.

My favorite is still PDA Panache. I wish they had a Zaurus stylus.
