I\'m in the same boat but need one that will let me download MSN POP email. MSN uses Secure Password Authentication.

Can you use fetchmail to download your mail?  Or some other programe.  And also do you have a linux server and or a linux computer that you use often.

I use the default email program that came with Sharp ROM 3.13, it works great with my other email accounts its just my MSN account thats the problem. Like I said it needs Secure Password Authentication which the default email program doesn\'t do!

Yes I have a Linux computer that I use but not a much as I should, old habits are hard to break!
BTW its running Mandrake 9.2.1 and its also unable to download my MSN email for the same reason \"no Secure Password Authentication\".

Ok I was going to say that if your linux box could download msn hotmail than you could just download the mail to that, run a pop3 server and than download the mail to your Z useing any mail app you want.  Thats what I did with my server since I have more than one email account and a yahoo account witch is not free to download anymore.  But since there are about a dozen programes that get aroud that no problume
if you could find a program that does that for hotmail than you be allset.

P.S. There are a few programs that can download hotmail do a search on freshmeat.net and sourceforge.net for hotmail.
