I am running apache and php, the 1.3.27 version with php 4.2.3 and phpmyadmin version 2.2.6-1 from the software index, and seem to be having a few problems with phpmyadmin displaying properly in opera 7.30.
Basically the main frame of the home page goes black, and only displays properly when I rescale the page to 120%. Not only that, but when I use the file browsing options (such as for loading a text file) it seems bring up a \" save page as\" page from opera, rather than the file-browser that I\'m after.
Finally, when I try and bookmark the main page in opera, it doesn\'t stay bookmarked, so next time I open opera up it\'s not there. I guess that\'s an opera problem rather than phpmyadmin!
I was wondering if anyone else has had these problems with phpmyadmin, and if they can be resolved by going to a later version. I\'m very new to all of this, so I have to ask, but can I simply download the latest tar gz file and unpack it into the appropriate place in home/www?
