bluez stack on zaurus sl-5500
« on: November 24, 2003, 09:36:12 pm »
I have openzaurus 3.2 installed and running well on an sl5500.

I am trying to add bluez support; however I am at a loss as to what bluez stack to use.

What is the correct bluez stack?

Are there config options required?

Thanks,
Dan

There is an Opie howto that calls for opie-bluetoothapplet.

That applet calls for bluez-rfcomm and task-bluez.

Is this the correct stack?

What provides those dependencies on Openzaurus and Opie?

Thanks,
Dan

All,

I took this to the Opie forum and the reply was bluez does not run on openzaurus 3.2. This is apparently a dead end.

I have bluez working succesfully (with socket bt cf and tmobile) and OZ 3.3.5, its a mess to setup but I\'ll post a how-to (or maybe just a better pkg) later today or tomorrow
