Saving progress in snes9x?
« on: May 31, 2004, 01:16:32 pm »
Sorry, I apologise in advance for my total ignorance. I received my Zaurus SL-5500 refurbished last august, and until a couple of weeks ago just used it for basic PIM stuff, and some games and ok applications, but nothing much, and I was even considering a PPC (please forgive me) until I found the Terminal  .

I recently got snes9x working well, but I am still unsure of how to save the game; suhami.net says its Fn+Shift+6 to save, and Fn+6 to load, but when i do this while playing, nothing happens, so I assume nothing has saved. I read somewhere the zaurus only supports two key presses at a time; would that have something to do with it? Also, is there any other way to quit snes9x than switching to \"Replace Battery\"? I find this a bit awkward. I am using the stock sharp Rom ( 2.38 ). My stupidity could be excused as I\'m only 12. Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere. I\'m sure someone has had these problems before!

Feel free to question me, and thank you in advance to whoever helps me

Jem

Upon searching around, it seems suhami were using the C700, hence they only had to press two buttons to save. There must be snes9x users out there on the 5x00 and 6000 series! Its possible the game has been saved, but I am unsure of the directory where it has been placed.

Any help is much appreciated
