so the time has come to where i must part with my zaurus.
so i wanted to remove oZ and throw on the default rom for whoever buys it, so i copied over ospack to my CF, removed initrd.bin and zImage, and did the 3 finger salute to flash my 5500d. flashed fine, in rebooting, a fsck errors appears. \'/dev/mtdblock1\' doesnt exist, so it cant fsck, so that \'type in root pass or hit ctrl-d for maintance\' window pops up, then when i hit enter i\'m an a
(Repair FS) # #

prompt, and have no idea howto fix this. any ideas?

Ok so i found in the FAQ where I\'m just suppose to hit the full reset button in the battery compartment. Did that, and now the sucker won\'t power back on, at all. anyone have any idea why?

You do have it plugged in when doing this?

Try re-flashing/re-resetting.

Or maybe go with the initrd.bin/zImage flash method (of the original ROM).
