Home key in SCUMMVM
« on: June 01, 2004, 12:16:04 pm »
Hello,

I am having some trouble with SCUMMVM.  I have it installed and working, sort of...  I have only tried with the Indiana Jones one,  and I really want it for DOTT and MM.  I can load the game and play it, but when it comes to save it, the home or m keys do not provide the expected result., actually nothing happens!

If I open the degugger (func-d), and then press either m or the hime key, and only a question mark  (\'?\') is displayed.

I am running on an SL5500, with Sharp ROM 3.1, libsdl 1.2.6cvs-1, libmad 0.14.2b-1 and scummvm 0.5.1-2 all downloaded through the www.killefis.de/zaurus links

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hmm on my c700, the press to \"Menu\" key to bring down the menu and save  my game etc.

Im using scumvm 0.5.5cvs thought, not sure if there is any difference to 0.5.1, i also plan to upgrade the zports one to 0.6 soon enough once i can see if Full Throttle work on it

It may have been the actual game, as it was only the demo version of Indiana Jones that I was using to test scummvm.  When I got home, I copied the files for DOTT to my Zaurus and it works perfectly (including speech!!)  Home or m keys bring the save menu, although the way the menu works is a bit dodgy.

In any case, I also discovered that func-shift-m brings up the letter m when you are in the debug window, so that way you can also use the savegame command from the debug window to save your game, quite easily as well.

Thanks!
