i have a 4gb microdrive, and I am having (or had) a problem with it.
I copied some music to it, (it was working fine for about 2 weeks), it gell on a carpet from about 2 feet, and then put it in my Z, and it would eventually acknowledge it was there, but couldn\'t read or access it. Same with PC and Mac (the PC said it had an I/) error. I tried the cardctl status, and it tels me it is a 3.3v 16 bit pc card, then it says:
function 0: [ready]. [bat dead], [bat low]
I have no idea what this means. I finally got pissed and tapped the card on my desk, and it now works again. The status read out is the same now as it was when it wouldn\'t be read by the Z.
Is this normal for a microdrive? Is mine not working great?
