USB networking with FreeBSD 4.8 release? how do i do it?
« on: December 03, 2003, 01:35:02 pm »
I use FreeBSD for my main computer OS. and i am sick of having to boot to a windows partition every time i want to transfer files to my Zaurus. When i put it in the cradle, i get this message from /var/log/messages

Code: [Select]
Dec  3 11:33:39 omin0us /kernel: ugen1: Sharp SL-5500, rev 2.00/0.00, addr 2

So i know its recognizing the Z. Has anyone done this under FreeBSD? thanks in advance.

regards,

omin0us,
I have not yet tried to link my SL-5500 with FreeBSD, however I will give it a try and let you know. I have 4.9 and 5.1 available to me.
