Oh well, hopefully with OpenEmbedded the drive to build better apps will take off. I may be incorrect, but in the early days of the Zaurus, new apps were appearing often, but then they stopped being updated. Probably because the Zaurus wasn\'t the PocketPC breaker people hoped for. But then, I blame that on the original PIM apps which were and still are, far too poor in comparison to encourage people to switch.
The Zaurus appeals to geeks because it\'s so versatile, but it really needed to appeal more to the common man or woman on the street and the onboard apps just would never do that. It\'s a shame that they weren\'t the emphasis of major evolution within the first year of the Zaurus\' life, sponsored by Sharp.
But that\'s my little rant :-)
The Opie PIM does something that the Sharp PIMs don\'t though, they allow you to display things firstname lastname, rather than lastname, firstname which annoyed me!
