Help to flash SL5500. Error : mail and battery leds flashing

Hi,

I have read a hundred of post, but I have not found this error :

I try to flash my SL5500 from CF, I have run this procedure :

- format CF from terminal (mkfs.vfat -F 16 /dev/hda1)

- copy OpenZaurus rom from Mac OSX to CF root (initrd.bin and zImage)

- remove all hiden files copied by OS X with Konsole

- verified files names and extensions

- switch inter to battery position

- Plugged AC power to PDA

- push reset button while holding keys C and D



Result : The two leds Mail and battery flashing, I wait for 30 min, but flashing always.

I push reset button, the PDA restart normally with old ROM



(I have already successful flashing ROM from 2.12 original to 3.13, but with CD version from PC, not from CF).

That has happened to me several times. One of my 16mbcf cards just wont flash. Do you have any other cf cards that you can try? Usually the light means that it can’t find the ospack or rom files on the cf card. Do you have any other boxes other than MACs? If you have windoze you might try copying to the card from one of those.

I already try from PC for update 2.12 to 3.13 ;: same error.

I will trying whith another CF
