My apologies to those who have tried to download R 1.9.0 or 1.8.x as the link from the download page was broken.
It should now be fixed:
http://sgp.zaurii.net/binaries/I've also 'fixed' ;-) the 1.7.x packages to use tar.gz rather than ar ipk encoding.
