Synching the C860 with Linux
« on: July 12, 2004, 01:05:19 pm »
I'm thinking about getting a SL-C860, and am sorely tempted after having read the postings in these  forums.  There's one question I haven't found the answer to, though: is it possible to synch the C860 with the Qtopia Desktop for Linux? At the moment I'm using my 5500 with Qtopia Desktop 1.7 on Fedora Core 2, and I'm very happy with this arrangement compared with exchanging  KOrganizer files, which I used to do.

TIA,

Eirik

No you can't sync the C860 with qtopia desktop for linux - Sharp xhanged a number of things only supplies the qtopia desktop for windows that can synch with the C860

Call Sharp Japan and ask them why, maybe they will release it if enough people call - but I doubt it
