C860 connectivity
« on: July 13, 2004, 05:09:58 am »
I've had my C860 for about a month, but now I have some questions so that I can use it for my work and stop lugging round a laptop. (I've searched the forums but can't find the answers, but maybe my serach criteria was not right)

These relate to the C860 with the Sharp 3.1 ROM (I don't want to change ROMs just yet)

1. I have use a VT emulator to connect to routers, servers, etc using a DB9 serial connection. Where can I get the necessary hardware to make this possible (UK perferred) and which is the best emulator software?

2.  How can I connect zaurus to external USB devices such as disk drives, ipod, etc?

3. I have Qkonsole (it was the opie, but I didn't like it), but it isn't using the other fonts in usr/Qt.../lib/fonts. What have I missed?

Thanks for any help
