Touchscreen not working #2

Has anybody ever heard of this happening? It just stopped responding in any way! One day it was fine, the next not. (the time in-between just stiing on my desk.) I've re-installed the Cacko ROM and am at the point where it says :
"tap anywhere on the screen to continue", and of course I cannot.

*any* thoughts?

Please don't create multiple topics for one problem. Use your original thread for help. If required just post a quick post with the word *bump* in it to make sure people pay attention to it.
